Press Release
Mediplus CT3000 Cuff Machine has been submitted for evaluation by The National Coordinating Centre for Health Technology Assessment (NCCHTA).
23rd September 2005
Launched earlier in the year, The CT3000 – Non-Invasive Bladder Analysis for Men, has been identified by the National Horizons Scanning Centre (NHSC) and subsequently the National Coordinating Centre for Health Technology Assessment (NCCHTA) for evaluation.
Using the clinical evidence developed by The Freeman Hospital and The Bristol Urological Institute and the available Government statistics on costs associated with the treatment of men with LUTS, the CT3000 has the potential to save the NHS tens of millions of pounds, thousands of hours clinical time, reduce the number of operations required by Men per annum and improve their clinical outcome from the operation.
